Why NormaTec

Advanced Compression Technology

NormaTec is a leader in rapid recovery process. The NormaTec system uses dynamic compression technology to facilitate recovery and rehab.

Peristaltic Pulse Dynamic Compression (PPDC) is a promising means of accelerating and enhancing recovery after the normal aggressive training that occurs in Olympic and aspiring Olympic athletes.

NormaTec

Created by a physician bio-engineer to enhance blood flow and speed recovery, the NormaTec system uses three techniques for maximizing your recovery.

Pulsing

Rather than simple squeezing (static compression), our system uses a patented Sequential Pulse Technology for dynamic compression (pulsing). This mimics the muscle pump of the legs and arms, gently enhancing the movement of fluid and metabolites out of the limbs.

Gradients

Our system uses hold pressure to keep fluids from being forced in the wrong direction, just like the one-way valves in our veins and lymphatic vessels, that prevent backflow. The NormaTec can deliver maximum pressure in every zone.

Distal Release

NormaTec releases hold pressure once it is no longer needed from each zone as soon as possible. Extended static pressure can be detrimental to the body’s normal circulatory flow. With NormaTec, each portion of the limb gains maximal rest time without a significant pause between compression cycles.
